I would LOVE to get ahold of an Entry barrel up here, but sadly the importer wont even touch something like that  (despite being completely legal.... All you do is give the CFC a call and change the barrel to the factory 14"-er, they send you the new cert. and away you go)

It's a short-barreled shotgun or SBS. It's an NFA restricted item. If you want to own a shotgun with a barrel less that 18" you'll be sending in the appropriate forms to the BATFE's NFA branch in West Virginia, along with the appropriate $200 tax, and waiting for the form's completion. Right now they're running about 4-5 months. This applies ONLY if you live in a state that allows civilian ownership of SBS. You live in NY so, most likely, your state does not. But it's certainly not registered as a pistol by any means.

Yeah this little Gem has a 14" bbl... I haven't loaded it so I am not sure on just how many she'll hold. Probably 5+1... maybe only 4+1??
I sold it but get to look at it a lot while waiting for the transfer to go through. I only did so because I have the telescoping stock version enroute!! :-) That one can be had.... but you better have deeeeep pockets! haha |
