I'll soon be getting a Mossberg 600AT (which sounds essentially identical to a 500 from what I understand).  I'd like to convert it to fill a more HD type of role.  I'm considering the purchase of an 18.5" barrel and possibly a full-length pistol grip stock.  Any suggestions for these parts and for a method of attaching a weaponlight would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure if Speedfeed makes a stock for that model shotgun. If they do, get that one.

If they don't make one for your shotgun, maybe an ATI will work (not the best quality)

cosmos556 has a weapon light mount that will work pretty good. You can get it at Midwayusa.com. It is held in place under the magazine cap.

From what I can tell on Gunbroker, the 600At looks close but I've never handled one so I can't comment.  Yes, MidwayUSA makes a Speedfeed 4 stock for the 500/590, and they could probably return it if it doesn't work.  No, my light mount won't work as Streamlight fits under 870 magazine cap but the Mossbergs use a different barrel mount style.  Check out the pictures thread for ideas how to mount a light on a 500.  I had a Mossberg Maverick 88 that worked just fine, but I traded it for a nice 870 setup.
