I remember a few years ago you used to be able to buy 25 round boxes of Whincester or Remington (maybe even Federal too) buckshot.  Have you had any luck finding them recently?

Occasionally the local wally world has 30 rd boxes of Winchester 00 buck. The 30 rd 'case' contains 6 5 rd boxes.

I saw some at the fun show over the weekend but I've got plenty for now.

Cabelas has 25 round boxes of Estate 2 3/4" 00 buck.  I don't remember the exact price but it was cheap and would be good for range ammo.

So you've used that stuff?  I saw it yesterday.  Is it good ammo.  There was one very negative review and I'm not sure how much weight to give that review.

It was $150/250 rounds.  Is that a good price for this ammo?  They have it in stock, too.  <––amazing these days.

Any feed back from anyone on the Estate ammo sold by Cabelas?

Estate is made by Federal.

No experience with the buckshot, but the target loads bust clays and dove as well as any other, and better than some.
Shells reload better than the cheap Winchester stuff.

I just got my Estate 00 buck from Cabelas a little while ago and finally got my 870 back from the 'smith.  I should be able to make it to the range later this week, I'll let you guys know how it performs.
Yes it is $150 for 250 rounds of 00 or #4 in 2 3/4"

If it really is made by Federal, it should be good.  I look forward to your report.  The price is decent, too (by today's standards).
