http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=1&t=268181 As for a mag extension, neither the 535 or the 500 will accept a mag extension due to the way the barrel attaches to the mag tube. The only exception to this is the Model 500 Tactical Cruiser with the Door Breaching "Stand off" muzzle attachment on the end of the barrel. It has the same barrel attachment that they use for the 590/590A1 & 835 shotguns. It has a barrel attachment similar to a Remington 870 and will accept a mag tube extension. Here is my 835 with a mag extension made by MAX100, who is a member here on the forum. It is a very high quality piece of gear!:

Mossberg turkey tactical I have one of these in the 500 model (I'm 5'3" and don't need magnums). I bought an IC choke for HD, and it's also my new turkey gun this spring. It's got collapsible stock, extended mag, relatively short barrel, FO sights, sling; it suits my needs. I am happy with mine. Not as cool as some of the other tactical Mossbergs, but it serves a dual purpose. |
