I just want to announce that I love my coach gun. I have hunted many a quail with it and it has proven ever reliable. It is fast swinging, and great handling while getting the job done. It is a 20" barrel Stoeger hammerless. I keep it out of the gun safe as a home defense piece, coupled with a Glock 21, and I do not feel under armed. I know it is not the best HD weapon, however, with all the time I have spent in the bush with it, I feel very comfortable with it and can reload it fast with a butt cuff. Anyway, just wanted to show my appreciation of what is in my opinion a timeless piece. Any other coach fans out there? |

I like em. The Girlfriends dad has a Chinese SxS he got for $250.00. Its a hoot to shoot it. You can hit clays with it, but its ovbiously harder. Fun for critters like rabbits, doves ect. I think the Stoegers are probally the best balance between price and serviceable quality. |

There's one from the early 1900's in my wife's grandparent's basement. They've been telling me for years I can have it but my mother-in-law hits the roof every time she hears it. She's convinced everything in that house belongs to her. I think it's now written into the will that I get it though. I've wanted one for years. |

I have a EAA imported Bakial 12 gauge. 20" removable chockes. Pretty nice gun with good wood that fitted nicely. Hand rubbed oil stock. It cocks the hammer a little too early on oopening. I like it for point shooting. If I used it for skeet my scores would drop. I have a hard enough time keeping barrels moving. |
