I purchased a used FN TPS off the board Monday and tonight is the first time I've had time to work with it.  The weapon didn't come with a manual (ordered from FN) so I used a Winchester 1300 manual as it's based on the same action.  During atempted disassembly I have been unable to remove the trigger group.  Prior to attempted removal I cycled the action, put the safety on, and removed the aft pin.  The action is full forward.  The trigger group is supposed to tilt out, but it's not released.

What am I missing (besides a brain)?

And the answer is....

The stock hex attachment screw was blocking the trigger group.  I had to remove the entire stock (collapsible M-4 style) in order to get the trigger group out.  I've replaced the original "buffer" tube with an Enidine Shot Shock and the stock castle nut with a milspec nut and Daniel Defense sling plate.  It's much nicer!
