I have been looking at converting my 870 Express into a HD gun.  There is an 18" barrel on cheaperthandirt.com that has the matte finish to match, but the problem I am having is I cannot find a Factory Remington 2-round mag extension that is matte, they are all parkerized.  Is there a huge difference in looks between the matte & the parkerized?

The matte will be a satin BLACK, while the parkerized is a matte dark GRAY.

There will be some noticeable difference, but how much depends on who's looking at it.
