I just went to a range last weekend where you had to bring your own thrower.  A friend of mine brought an old remington hand thrower that worked pretty well.  The only thing I didn't like was that you could only throw one bird at a time and it took too long to reload.

I recently had a friend of mine offer for me to come up and shoot on his property.  I'd like to buy a string operated thrower that can throw more than one target at a time.  Can someone suggest a good one that will hold up and work well without paying a whole lot for it?  Thanks!

Trius One Step, about a hundred bucks.

Google it.  No need to fart around with strings, and you can go alone.

I have the 20-30 dollar one from Midway. It is supposed to stick in the ground but it won't. Mount it to a car wheel or on a table. It will throw doubles but it breaks one some of the time. I think it's gotten better with use. I think I've seen the same one for sale at Academy and wally world. SS
