I know in the past there were bottom ejecting shotguns. While dove hunting, I spent about as much time looking for my hit doves as I did for my ejected hulls. I have to pick up all my hulls because I hunt a ranch where the cattle will eat just about everything. I currently shoot a remington 1187 and love it. I would like to find a bottom ejecting semi auto(good excuse to add to my safe). O/U just don't catch my eye(can't afford one) but I would get one cheap if I could. So whats out there? |

+1 on the Browning and the Ithaca. A buddy of mine has the browning, and I used to own an Ithaca, nice guns... I think I read about a bottom ejector a couple months ago in "On Target" magazine, but I don't remember which one it was... it wasn't the browning or the ithaca though, it was a new one. I'll see if I can find the mag and the article and post the information |

You might be more able to afford a double than you think. Mossberg and Remington both have doubles for under $600.
