[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 870 Problem

The rear FCG pin on my 870 keeps backing out.
What can I do to stop this?
When I first bought the gun, there were pieces of an ammo box shoved in there, and I removed them - looking back they must have been shims.
Does anyone know how to shim this?

Solved the problem with a paper shim.
Mods, feel free to delete.

I dont' think you've solved the problem. Remove the trigger group and see if the J-spring is gone. That's kind of a ring that holds the pin in its place.
