If you recall, I went a recently picked up a LNIB Remington 870 Express Synthetic Tactical . Well, tomorrow is the last day for the FL 2A sales tax holiday and my FFL won't be open tomorrow (understandable). So, I swung by and picked up this H&R today, paid $175 OTD for it. I'll throw a four round side saddle on it and call it a day. I have one floating around in my parts box.

Blasted with brake cleaner, green scrub pad to the surface rust off, got the plug out, cut to 18.75”, and oiled up. Functional farm equipment now. The quilt is one my mom made from the Tee shirts she got over the years at the TB clinic. She is proud of it. |

Picked this up awhile back on clearance form PSA for $180. Its amazing. 100% reliable, essentially a scaled up AK. Chrome lined bore. No recoil. Its so heavy, when you dial in the gas system for your ammo, no recoil. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I went a bit crazy with this KS7.. It's just a toy really. Attached File Attached File Attached File The laser is a neat concept on a 12 gauge. The beam expands In size based on the distance. It just about mimics the spread of buck shot. UTG Green Bulldot. |

On the plus side all of the added crap tames the recoil. I like the TMP recoil pad as well. It's a big chunk of aluminum that adopts of a size limb saver. A PDW esque recoil pad on a shotgun that weighs as much as a nerf gun in its stock configuration kinda kicks.  I had the Irons/Optic laying around so I figured I'd use them. I don't think the muzzle brake really does that much. If anything the weight from it is what helps. |

I was also messing around with a Turkinelli I picked up on clearance. It did ok in the burn down video, I just made sure to replace some roll pins with better ones from Mc Master. Attached File It's an AKSA S4 imported by black aces. My only complaint is the obnoxious bill board. I kinda wanted to blend old/new aesthetics. |

There are many like it but this one is mine. I always put off buying an 870 Police and then finally found this with the 20" barrel that I wanted. I swapped the synthetic furniture out with NOS walnut that I refinished with Heritage Gunstock Oil & Wax which I highly recommend. I had the Remington +3 mag tube and pre-Wlison Scattergun Technologies follower stashed away in the 870 parts bin for like 28 years. |
