[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Franchi shoutguns

I came across a SPAS-12 and an SAS-12, both of which are in like new condition. I don't know much about Franchi's, any ideas on what they are worth? The owner said both pre-date the import ban, and the SPAS has the arm hook included.

Any things to look for, or things to avoid with these two?

I have seen SPAS-12s between $800-1200. You want to make sure it has the recall safety installed.

I had 2 spas 12's one with the top folder. I ended up selling both but regret not keeping the top folder version.

I also had a law-12. I was shooting 2 &3/4 inch magnums out of it & it jammed up. After messing with the action some chunks of plastic came out, I think it was some kind of buffer or something that shattered apart in the gun. I ended up trading it to one of my friends after that.

ETA

I sold the 2 spas 12's for 600 each but that was about 10 years ago.

i have a sas-12 i like the gun, i paid around 700.00 10 plus years ago. you don't see many of them around.

I'm shopping for a spas 12 now, looks like between 800 and 1000 to pick one up.

was just shooting spas today... love it

bought first for $900, just found another cherry one NIB for $650

also just got law 12 for $400
