I have a Winchester Defender. I am looking for a synthetic forearm that will fit it. Winchester made their forearm extensions, (or the tube the forearm fits over) in 3 different lengths. The standard 1300 pretty much uses the 6.5" extension, the police and Defender models use a 4.75" and the compact models use a 2.75" length. I have ordered a couple forearms from different suppliers ie, speed feed, and Hogue, and they are made for the 6.5" tube. Does anyone out there know of a synthetic forearm that will fit the Defender model? I also checked Winchester parts and they only list a birch forearm for that length. Thanks |

Check with Brownell's. They either carry all things shotgun, OR know who does. A phone call or email will probably get you what you need. Another possible source is Choate Machine. They make more shotgun accessories than just about anyone, and their GOOD about responding to emails. |
ATI makes one. I'm sure there are others. |

D, I checked with them and ordered the Hogue. They said it would fit. It was for the longer extension, so I had to return it. Leaky, I was considering the ATI, but wasn't sure it would fit. I think I will call their customer service and check. I already bought 2 forends that don't fit, I want to be sure this time. |
The ATI fits for sure...I had one for a while before replacing it. You'll likely be happy with the Hogue. Enjoy. |
