Hi all,

I hope there some SPAS-12's lucky owners here, who've the time and opportunity to take some good pictures of this awesome shotgun. If yes, read please :

I dunno if you're a PC player, but i've a friend who work as freelancer for the video games industry, and he need hi-res pictures to make 3D models and textures of various firearms and accessories. Now he work on STALKER : www.stalker-game.com/index_eng.html
I've begin a weapon database for that purpose, but it's hard since i've no access to firearms. So all the reference pics come from foreign people than i've contacted on internet, who're kind enough to help me. That's why it'll be really helpful if you can take some good pics for me.
Here my site : www.imagestation.com/member/index.html?name=DeicideNBF (you need to be registered to see all the pics, and it's free)

Now, imagine than you must drawn a weapon in 3D, it's like works with blue prints; so you need all the sides possibles and some details for the moving parts. Once the 3D model is over, the texture work begin, that why the pics must not be angled, blured or too dark; it's like grab the "skin" of the real thing and stick photorealistic textures on the model.

I would like these views, buttstock folded and deployed [full sides] :

-Right, left
-Rear, front
-Top, bottom

Next, repeat the same views with the operating handle pull backward, buttstock deployed [receiver only] :

-Right, left
-Top, bottom
-Rear
-Close up of the chamber full (+1) and empty from right, rear and top
-Close up of the magwell full and empty from bottom

[Close ups] : img267.echo.cx/img267/6907/spas125jd.jpg

1- Stock (deployed) : Right, left, top, bottom, rear (buttplate)
2- Front sight : Right, left, rear, top, front
3- Rear sight : Right, left, rear, top, front
4- Forearm : Right, left, top, bottom
5- Barrel : Right, left, top, bottom, front (muzzle)
6- Grip+Trigger : Right, left, bottom

-And finally, one pic with the iron sights aligned, if possible as show here : img266.echo.cx/img266/2482/sst870buissightsaligned8km.jpg

I repeat, all the pics must be taken in the bigger resolution possible.

You can send me the pictures here : [email protected]
Or upload all here (it's free but maxi image size is limited to 1024ko) : Imageshack
Or here : Imagestation (free, no storage limit)

Of course, all the pics will be stored on my site for a non commercial use, only as reference pics. I win nothing, i've received no gifts of money for that. It's only for help game's developpers in their work, and show good pics of various weapons for those who like firearms like me.

Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers

PS. Just in case, i'm also interested by these shotguns :

-Benelli M1014
-Saiga-12k
-Mossberg 500 bullpup
-USAS-12

Google loves you.

A quick search yielded this. You may also want to use the image search with terms like "SPAS-12 pump," "SPAS-12 stock," ad nauseam.

Having just watched the DX9 video on the Stalker website, I'd like to point out that the SPAS-12 shown in the video is missing the charging handle (located on the bolt).

Of course i do tons of research on google and know well Chris Spas-12's site, but there nothing really interesting who can be used.

About the Spas-12 in Stalker, i've already noticed the errors, (operation handle missing, "Benelli "marking instead of Franchi, wrong bolt texture, etc...) and i've contacted the dev team manager. He say me than they'll correct the shotgun asap, but they need high res pics for that work. That's why i've posted my request here, and tried to contact forumers who own a Spas-12. But seems no one want or can help me unfortunately.

I would help ya but I've got a scope mount on mine.  It would be a hassle to take the scope mount off.

Tag,

I have a bunch of Mossberg 590 Bullpup photos from about every angle that I'll upload later this week!

Looks like a cool game.  "Any chance that a supplier of high quality weapon imagery" could wrangle a copy?

Well, all is explained is my first post. So if you can provide me some cool pics of  your Mossberg 590 bullpup, they're more than welcome.
And thanks for your help Bigger_Hammer :)
