Okay a couple of questions about several shotguns. I was at wal-mart the other day and they have a Beretta shotgun 390 12 gauge. Can you get extension tubes for these, I looked on the beretta website and they have them, just not sure if they will work with that model? With an extension tube you could turn that semiauto into a combat shotgun for a lot cheaper than a Benelli.

Also where can I get extension tubes for an 870? I figure Wal-Mart has the 870 for around $250, with an extension tube, whalla. On another note, is remington offering that new stock of theirs (pistol grip and stock) to us civies?

The best place to find and buy shotgun accessories is Brownell's.
www.brownells.com

I don't know of anybody who makes extensions for the Beretta Model 390, because it's very much a sporting gun, and there isn't enough demand for extensions for that model.

Brownell's also sell several stocks with pistol grips.
The best are Choate and Speedfeed.  Remington uses the Speedfeed.

Have you checked to see if the newer 391 Ext series tube design is compatible?  If so, then you have a variety of tube extensions.  I think the 391s are compatible with the Benelli Nova;s...tube -wise, but do not quote me on that.

IIRC---the way the barrel attaches to the Beretta----its impossible to put a mag extention on a Beretta.-----well not without a major re-design and a lot of custom work.

Putting an extention on the 870 Express will take a little work---but it can be done----that would be your best bet.

Newer 870 (non-police models) have dimples on the magazine tube making it difficult to increase the magazine capacity.  The only way around that is to either smooth them out, or drill them out.  Both would probably void the manufacturer's warranty.  Other than that, the tube should be the same.  Before trying this, you may want to check with your state and local laws regarding magazine-tube capacities and weapon's modifications.

The 3 870 Express Magnums that I recently purchased dont have any dimples, and the dimples are only difficult to remove if your a retard.

a few seconds with a dremel had the dimples out of the last 870 Mag tube I did then a little touch of black paint and you could not even notice I had removed them
