I am interested in making the following modifications to a Benelli M3. I would like to replace the factory stock with a short tactical stock from Speedfeed (IV-S), and add a +2 mag extension. Is this legal on a new gun or do I have to buy a preban? I live in Arizona. Thanks in advance for the advice.

OK,
Let me rephrase the question, Sorry to sound like a newbie, but I am. After further reading it is obvious that I will have to buy a preban gun to get the features that I want (PG stock and 7+1 mag). I would like to replace the current full length stock with a Speedfeed IV S stock. Does the gun have to be pre 1989 to allow this mod? I am unclear as to the distinction between the importation of Non Sporting firearms ban of 1989 and the AWB of 2004. Any advice or links that would explain the law in laymens terms would be helpful.

Thanks,
Derrick
