Depends on the conditions during the shoot. If you are in a relativle clean environment, you can get away with cleaning it very Rarely. If you are shooting in a Sandy, Windy area, I'd clean it every time.

I like keeping them clean so I clean it after every time I shoot and once a month. If I get it real dirty(shoot lots of rounds through it) I'll clean it when I get home and again the next day. I do the same with my pistol no matter how dirty it gets after shooting.

its real easy to put back togeather i could walk you through it. just study the cuts in the reciver and the way the parts lock togeather b4 you take it apart. your supposed to clean your guns every time you fire them exceptions being a ak or a pump action. still dont be lazy lazyness is for communists that why they use inaccurate low maintaince weapons
