The manufacturer of LKCI's CM P08 Luger seems to be CM Defense & Weapon Industry Machinery LLC. in Nilfer, Bursa, Turkiye. Interestingly, the Turkish company makes a BHP clone that looks identical to the Regent BR9 that LKCI used to import. |

Back in May, an friend and I attended an industry show here in Ohio where Tisas had a booth. I brought up this thread and "rumors" of P-08. He politely denied any knowledge of such a thing acting like it was the first time he'd heard of it. After continuing the conversation (very nice guy by the way) he eventually admitted that "they" had, in fact, "discussed the possibility internally" of a Tisas Luger. As to be expected, a major hang up was the viability of allocating resources to a pistol design that would have a limited market while still allowing for a "reasonable" price to the consumer. Sounds like a standard "canned answer" to me but that was my experience. YMMV |
