| I just got one from Atlantic Arms and really like it. I know it fits XDM holsters and I would like a light bearing holster to go on my belt and get one for carry. The IWB holster that comes with it works fine I just want more holster options. |
| How do you like the PX9 so far? Have you been able to shoot it? I’m debating getting the threaded version. I am normally a Glock / CZ / M&P guy but none of my guns have an optics cut, and I really want to try out a pistol red dot. Getting one of these isn’t too much more than sending out one of my existing guns to get cut. Value wise the PX9 seems like a hell of a gun, I just don’t want a turd. |
| Going to shoot it next weekend. Like you I wanted to try out an optics ready platform. I have threaded barrel model. Fits really good in my hand. I went an omnivore holster for now with a True North Concepts QLS adaptor. Gonna try the sights out first then get a rmr and go from there. They are very well built pistols with a very tight lock up. For $409.00 and that’s was with shipping and transfer fee, it’s a very good package. |

Also ordered a holosun 507 with ACSS Vulcan reticle. I should have everything by Tuesday. |
| Picked up my PX9 Tactical today. Feels great in the hand, I love how customizable it is as far as grip panels go. I do wish they were more aggressively textured. I’ll probably hit the panels with a soldering iron or wrap the grip in some hockey tape. Trigger seems to be decent, I would classify it better than a Glock but worse than an M&P 2.0. The pull weight feels light but the reset could be more tactile. |
| I've had mine for about 6 months now. Bought it from Centerfire Systems. Then bought some 18 and 20 rounders from Greg Cote. I use a wrap-holster (see the Condor VT) if I want to holster it with a light. It is essentially an XD clone, so I found a Don Hume JIT holster and it fits perfectly (but that's without a light). Obviously, I use the JIT a lot more than the wrap. Gun runs great for me and is a natural pointer. I probably have 400+ rounds through it so far. Easy to aim, easy to clean, and eats all the odd ball ammo I've thrown at it - you know, left-overs. Haven't tried steel cased such as Frontier, which I hate. So, I can't say how it would do. I think I had one FTE the last outing but a quick rack-tap-and-pull put me back in action. All in all. I like the gun and the JIT is very affordable. Seems snug enough in mine without being hard to draw. |
