Yes it is unless you get the USG which also has a manual saftey.

I agree.  I have an early-issue DA/SA FNP 45, and it works basically like a SIG DA/SA except the decocker is in a different location.

OK I'm looking at the pistol on their website. If you charge the weapon and move the safety lever up it is  cocked and locked, if the lever is pushed  down it is ready to fire and if it is pushed further down it will decock such as the H&K USP Variant 1. Is this correct?

On the USG that is correct. Very similar to the hk.
