Im wanting to add a 9mm to my little collection. Also something that my wife feels comfortable shooting and can handle confidently. We've recently started checking oujt different makes and models.
We both like the features of the FN, but have never owned or operated any of their products.

What is the difference between the fns9 and the fnx9? As far as I can see, the trigger is different. Is there any signifigant differences that we should chose one over the other?
Thanks y'all.

I believe The FNS is striker fired and the FNX is hammer fired DA/SA.

My wife does better with the DA/SA trigger on her FNX9 than with the striker fired trigger on her SR9c.  Its smoother and shorter in SA.
It probably comes down to personal preference more than anything.
