| I have a chance to get a FNP 9 for 380.00. I was looking at the P99/QA and that is 439. is that a deal on the FN? also how do they fit in the hand? I own a HK P30 and this will be a backup firearm for the house. |
| They fit well and have a few backstraps nice looking gun bit the 9's have a few issues they are prom to getting this peening thing going on the slide under p on fnp there is not allways a safty depending on model. The peening id simply takedown lever hopping as it cycled but still annoying. Depending on condition I would not hesitate its fun to shoot! Good luck |

I had one of the very first FNP9. The only problem or complaint I ever had was the slide wouldn't lock back on the last round sometimes. FNH/browning took care of the problem on their dime.
Take the slide off, look at the fire control housing, make sure its not cracked on either side (common problem, that FNH will fix) That one appears to be a newer model so you should be GTG. An FYI though, the FNP series is no longer in production. It was replaced by the FNX series (very similar, with a few updates) $380 seems reasonable. I think I sold mine for $350....and I miss it sometimes. VERY accurate pistol. |
