Hey guys,I 'm looking to purchase a new handgun.

The sights are on either the FNP-9 or the FNP-40. Price would be the same for each, just north of $400.

Any pro's or con's for either.

Was this model originally designed around a 9mm frame and then offered in a .40 or possibly designed in .40
and then offered in 9mm? Seems to be very light and was wondering about durability with a larger cartridge.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

9mm

pros: ammo is less expensive | higher capacity

I love my FNP-9

The FNX is a newer model. I prefer 40's over 9's but just my preference.

.40 is 9mm without the capacity and cheaper price.
Get the 9mm, and try to get the FNX if you can. Fantastic gun for the money.
