anyone have a buckmark with a tacsol barrel? i am thinking of getting a basic buckmark camper and a 7.25 fluted barrel from tactical solutions and the aluminum grips. is this a good combo? im looking for a first rate plinker and a pack gun for when i go camping and backpacking(hence the lighter barrel) no opitcs though. will that be good enough to take small game at about 35-40 yards if i do my part and use quality ammo? any input is appreciated.  thanks

You will be very pleased with te Buck Mark TacSol combo. You might also consider the 4" barrel. I also recommend the TacSol intergrated scope rail. You can see some pictures at www,mizzoumule.com of different combos. I have a 4" and a 7" and the four gets it done very well for me. Regards

I have the basic Buckmark with the extended barrel and it is my fav pistol to shoot. The cost of the 22-cal ammo still isn't bad either, even with the prices doubling over the past year. Very accurate and reliable and a great deal for the $.
