I have 5 MKIII's and all very reliable with any brand of ammo. My only complaint was the stock trigger pull which was solved with a $20 VQ sear for a 2lb trigger pull. I also installed a $10 VQ extractor for more reliable ejection. This is one of the best .22 pistol built today and will last a lifetime. Don't let people drive you away from buying the MKIII because of the tough field stripping process. It's only difficult the first time but there are a lot of step by step with pics online.

The first field strip is LOTS easier if you first put about 200 rounds through the gun.
