I was once bitched out by an ex girlfriend for shooting in the basement with a canned Ruger Pistol. It wasn't the report of the shots (read beyond quiet with a wipes can using subsonic ammo), but the whacking of the bullets hitting the steel trap and the tingling of the cases dancing on the Crete slab that was driving her up the wall. Thank god I had the basement exhaust fans on (was on a roll and shooting by the brick lot), since she didn't say a word about any smells making it way up stairs to piss here off as well. Hey, it was winter with a wicked blizzard going on, and I wasn't about to go outdoors and play in the snowdrifts just to get some shooting time in. And if you where wondering, the bullet trap was replaced with a few phone book, and a blanket set down to muffle the spent cases when they hit the floor. Shit, you don't think I was going to stop shooting just because I got on one of here last nerves ( I did mention that she was a ex, so you go do the math).
