So, let me just start by saying that I (embarrassingly) haven't been shooting in about 2 years.  There have been a couple factors.  Kids and the fact that my club closed their outdoor range really didn't help any.  So, one part of my club is an indoor handgun range. They're only open on Monday nights ( a no go for me) and Sat morning (clearly a go).   Well today I decided I'm going.  So today I took two of my newer acquisitions with me; a LNIB MKII MK512 and a MkII 22/45 stainless with 5.5" bull barrel  Now I have four other KMK512's but this is my first 22/45.

The range was great.  Polite, clean, only one other shooter, and best of all.....free.

I gotta say.  DAMN!  The 22/45 is great.  I shot the MkII well, but I shot the MkII 22/45 even better.  My groups were a little bit rusty, but not too bad considering how long it's been.  I was pleased that my eyes were still up to it.  Between the two pistols I experienced only one FTE....and the front sight on the MkII got loose but that's just a matter of tightening the screw so I'm not upset.

All in all, a great morning.  I shot approx 400 rounds.

I love my 22/45!  It's a tack driver to say the least.  Definitely the best $65 I ever spent!
