Dare I ask what a muzzle brake on a rimfire is doing there?

Thanks for not answering a simple question.....................

I own two Buckmarks, a Challanger II & a host of other .22 handguns & have NEVER felt the need/desire for a comp/muzzle brake on a rimfire.

Sweet!
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!
If you want a comp, especially since this fucked up state won't let us own suppressors by all means, enjoy!
This is America after all.

FWIW I have comps on my MkIIs. They were made by my father. A .22 has very little muzzle flip- especially with the 5.5" bull barrel, but I use my pistols in matches. When shooting steel plates any amount of muzzle rise just adds a few tenths of a second to move to the next target. Those tenths add up during a match.
Dad's comps worked so well that many of the guys in my club had him make them for their pistols.
I have been told by several people that when I shoot my muzzle doesn't jump at all- it just tracks to the side.
