Is the factory Buckmark blade front sight interchangeable w/ the fiber optic sight as far as mounting purposes goes
I am taking the fiber optic sight off and wanting to put a stock blade style on instead. |
| As far as I know, the front sights are interchangeable with regard to physically swapping them. They may or may not be compatible with the rear sight after swapping. As you may know, some Buck Mark barrels have a stepped diameter.On one of my pistols the front sight from a full bull barrel was too short to work well with the rear sight when installed on a Camper barrel. The solution was to use a "donor" sight from a Ruger. I had to make a small divot in the bottom of the Ruger sight to make it fit over the alignment pin of the Browning barrel. |
