I bought a S&W 9mm 1911 and posted here how I was more than happy with it. So happy in fact that I better get a second wile the getting was good.
Local dealer had two and offered a very nice price . Being that there were two to choose from, I looked at both. I got nervous and knew it was over. The two appeared to have no similarity to my gun. Both of these two appeared to have completely different metal finish on the barrels. Trigger flopped around and that is as far as I got before I knew. I called my gunsmith and aggreed to order a Caspian frame. I am lucky to have the one I have and the wait will not be a bit painful. ETA; As said many times on this board, one really does have to look over a prospect before commiting . Sad but true. All the attention and pride seems to have gone. |
