How bad does the "made in Brazil" stamp on the frame just above the trigger affect the price of a GI? Ive learned enough on here to know that all GI's are made in Brazil. But alot of the pictures I see on GB and here dont have it stamp in plain sight.
Im pretty sure I got a good deal on mine. Now I just have to wait a couple weeks for these stupid "pistol purchase permits" to come in before I can get pics up. |

Well good then. I don't know why they had it priced so low? I got it for $260 with a $50 credit so $210 out the door. It looks pretty close to new it couldn't of had more than 100 rounds through it. I'll put pics up as soon as I can.
I'm planing a Wilson trigger, hammer, and grips kinda like on the trp. But who knows I'll have to do some more reading. |

That's a very low price. I hope it wasn't a bubba project gone bad. |

Did it come with a barrel? Jeez that's low. I thought I stole my LNIB Mil Spec for $525 shipped. Quality on Brazilian Springfields is generally good. My trigger pull was sucky (probably 8lbs), so I installed a Cylinder & Slide 4.5lb matched hammer set. Now the trigger pull is almost as nice as my Desert Warrior.
Pics when you get it. Congrats. |
