Try Chuck Warner-http://www.warnerpistols.com/
He's cutting some dovetails for me on a Colt Combat Commander slide. Hell of a nice guy and reasonable prices. |

my real question is really since this is a 'smaller' job, can i get it done quicker than teh usual jobs? I cannot speak for Chuck, but generally, yes. Email him..he's pretty quick at responding. zero response I just talked to Chuck, he has not been at the shop for 5 days. His area was pounded by the snowstorm that hit the West and the MIdwest. Roads have been closed and the power's been out. He is hoping to get back in the shop today or tomorrow. |

If you don't end up going with him call John Harrison. He's was quick to reply back when I was in contact. http://www.harrisoncustom.com/Contact.aspx |

I'm sure there was an explanation - but a week? I'd love to get this done.... Week? That's nothing. I sent some P220SAO safeties to a highly recommended Sig smith, who promised me a month. That was last September....it's now nearly Mid February and nothing. Chuck's been without power for a few days, no internet and he is the process of something big-I promised not to say what....he will get back to you. |
