[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Fail Zero finish?

Alright,
I know C&S's "Trident" pistol comes with this finish. Anyone else know how this finish would hold up on a 1911? Would it be liks e a cross between hard chrome and NP3? I'm intrigued.
