I am looking at buying a Nighthawk Talon III for around $1800.00. I really enjoy 1911 and would like to upgrade my collection.
I am looking for advice and the opinions of those that are all wise!!! So... what sayeth the hive??? |
 I have 2 Nighthawks and LOVE THEM! I have a Talon II bobtail which has a 4&1/4 inch barrel , it has accompanied me for 24/7 for 3 years and 2 months with about 4500 rounds downrange and I have a Nighthawk Vickers which unfortunately gets to spend most of it's time in the gun safe. It shoots great , accurate and reliable. Larry Lyles at Nighthawk is a very nice guy in customer service to deal with and so is pistolsmith Jeff Phillips. Nighthawk Custom is a first rate company and I highly recommend them. I have been dealing with them for years when they were with Wilson Combat. Another plus is that they will warranty that gun even if you did not buy it new.
