Does anyone have experience with this brand?  I understand it's from Armscor such as Rock Island is but I would like some opinions on whether it's GTG or something to avoid.  Local seller has one for $400.

So far all I have heard were good things nothing bad.  I personally cannot indorse them because I have not shot or owned one but from the people who have they like them for the price.

I asked a guy at a local dealer that I trust. He said that he took one out for a test and ran about 500 rounds through it. He said no problems, accurate and reliable.

I looked one over, and I will admit that they have alot of the bells and whistles that people want. I did notice that the one I looked at, a full size, that the parts had mold lines on them, indicating that they are MIM parts.

The fit and finish was not bad.

It seems a lot of manufactures are moving to the MIM parts I guess to get price down and mass production up.  I have some MIM parts on my pistols and have zero issues but some I do not like the look and will either file off the seems or replace the parts.

I do the same thing..I clean up the edges and refinish them...

I have never had a MIM part fail..but to be honest...I don't like them and at the first chance I change them out to tool steel parts.

I have no experience with Citadel.  I do have an RIA MS, made by Armscor.  It has given good service.

Not much in the way of MIM, though.  Most of the parts look cast.  Modern MIM is not that bad, for some parts.

I too have been known to polish away casting seams and re-finish.  It doesn't make the part any better, it just looks better.

Cosmetics is where the Armscor guns are weak.  For some people, "Handsome is as handsome does", for others, pretty is worth every cent you pay.

I can understand both sides.

I've also been giving the Metro Arms some thought.
