I did a search and could not find a topic for the new Colt rail gun and was curious if anyone had one, or has shot one yet. I was considering putting one on the short list, but have yet to lay hands on one and would like some feedback. Seems like a decent deal for a stainless 1911 for around $1,000.
Any comments would be appreciated. |

There was a thread a while back, the author didn't mention the gun in the title, that's probably why you didn't find it by search method.

Nope, sorry... a local shop got one in a while back, but the grip safety was so horribly fit that I passed on it. Haven't seen another since then. The rest was all in order, though. It did seem a little sharp, but not as bad as some I have handled. |
| Picked up one yesterday! So far all I can say it that it's real pretty! I will post after I get a chance to shoot it. I was not able to find a holster to fit it well do to the rail. This one is for the night stand so I dont reckon I need one that fits a light (TLR2) but I would like a holster for trips to the range w/o the light. |

| I can never find them when I go looking for a Colt. Plus I can never find a good condition Colt when I try to find a used one. Last one I found the trigger had lots of play up and down, slide frame fit was HORRIBLE, plastic MSH, and the guy wanted a 1000 for the pistol. When I called him out of the price to come down he kept saying that is a Colt that is a Colt. |
