Anybody ever sent a 1911 to Bill?  How do you like the trigger now?  was it a factory trigger?  How did you ship the frame?

I'm thinking of shipping my stock Mil-spec springer to him for an upgrade...should I do my beavertail and hammer befoe I the trigger job or will I be OK to do it after?

I'm kinda a 1911 newb so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ETA:  Pics of pistol.

Yep –– I sent him a Kimber that I had bought used, cheap, with a bad disconnector, along with several AR trigger groups, just recently.

How do you like the trigger now?

I love it.

was it a factory trigger?

Yep, stock parts that the previous owner had "home-smithed" thus screwing up the disconector, which Bill replaced.

How did you ship the frame?

UPS, full disclosure (and price
) along with the trigger groups –– wasn't cheap, but it was insured correctly and Bill's very fair price mitigated that expense in my mind.
