| I read Gaspain's thread on his build, and he discussed fitting the slide with lapping compound and oil. Is this the standard method, and is there another way to do it? I have a P14, and I am considering getting a 9mm slide and magazines for it. Is there a way to fit the new slide without affecting the frame, so that the original slide remains tight? Is there any other work necessary to make the switch? |
