Took my CS out to the desert today for some pumpkin slaughtering and a good break-in. Shot about 150rds today, 100 were Blazer 230gr FMJ and 50 rds of WWB 230gr FMJ.
The only malfunction was a stovepipe on my last round but i attribute it to magazine failure. I bought a Kimber "Kimpro" magazine that absolutely will not lock back on last round fired. Feed lips look perfect but i think it might be the follower. I would return the mag but i dont have the receipt or the packaging. Cabelas is kind of picky when it comes to returns. I'll just keep it, mark it and use it only as a range mag. Overall im in love with this pistol. I shoot low with it but I think i just have to get used to GI sights. I carried a Beretta M9 alot so im still used to those sights. My buddy was hitting dead center on a 7" round from 15 yrds and I was shooting tight but 3" low. Sorry no pics. |
