I'm in the market for a railed Commander-sized 1911.  I want to try to keep it around $1000 if I can but I noticed that the field is pretty limited.  It looks like the two front runners are the Springfield Armory LW Champion Operator and a Sig Sauer Revolution Carry

Both guns and companies seem to have their good points and bad points.  Just wanted to know what ARFCOM thought

Thanks

Between the two? I'd go with the Springer.

I have the Springfield Armory LW Champion Operator and like it a lot.
Side Note: Standard 1911 holsters won't work with the rail and the holster that comes with it is shit.

Fusion Firearms can make you one for a little bit more than a thousand. The pistol is called the T-Comm Commander.

Also, since you aren't looking at true commanders, Kimber makes the Pro TLE/RL II

If you're gonna hang a light on it go with a 5" gun.
