| im looking for a 1911 with a light rail to add to my arsenal. i've seen the colt, sig, kimber, SA, taurus, smith, and wilsons, but are there any other companies that make one? im just in the research phase and trying to see which one will suit what i want it to be, basically accurate and reliable. thats basically it, any personal experience would be appreciated too. thanks. |

How much do you want to spend? Do you want a full length rail? |

I use a SIG 1911. About 800 rounds down the pipe so far and not one issue to report.

Did someone say rail? http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt232/operator1911/DSC01396-1.jpg Springfield TRP Tactical Operator (Full Rail Version) I'm with him! I've used mine hard, to the point of abuse according to some. As in playing around doing rifle and handgun drills that included getting down in the dirt and having a lot of dirt get inside mine. Bit it still went bang everytime, and was still very accurate. |

You made a good choice. also let me give you a piece of advise, put a drop of loc-tite or something on the pin in the adjustable site, mine started walking after 1k rounds but hasn't since I did that, has been 500 since
