Does anyone know if the Gunner Grips listed on Brownells are the oval cut gunners or the original full circle golfball grips?
I'd love to buy some for an upcoming 1911 project, but I don't want the crappy looking ovals. |

All I can tell anyone for sure is unless they changed recently the Strider Knives Simonich Gunners at Brownells have the oblong dimples not round ones.
ETA If you call and ask theyll have someone check them for you. Theyre not like the Kimber oblong but they are a stretched out shape. |

I'd love to buy some for an upcoming 1911 project, but I don't want the crappy looking ovals. i bought them off brownells-and returned them as well because they're the oval cut ones. go to the simonech knives site for the real ones. the oval cut ones suck, they're not very grippy, just sharp and uncomfortable. if you want good g10's, i have vz grips aliens and operators-good stuff. the aliens are the grippiest i have ever tried (and they're not painful at all!) just a good design. tiger stripe operators:
