I just picked up a Dan Wesson CBOB in 10mm.  I've read that installing a heavier recoil sping is a good idea in the 10mm.  Is this something I should consider in a Dan Wesson or should I just leave the sping alone?

Thanks
Steve

I would think that it depends on what kind of 10mm loads you'll be using. I don't have one myself but I've heard that current 10mm is pretty mild compared to the older stuff. Now if you plan on using hot loads then you may want to change the spring or use the one you have and change it more often with new springs of the same rate.

Handloads or using Doubletap 10mm I'd definetly up the recoil spring, might go with a shock buffer too.

Yes, I will be shooting handloads that range from upper middle to high power Max loads.

Thanks
