I'm a fan of 10mm and I was wondering what the general feeling is about the Dan Wesson RZ-10. I have no experience with the company.

I do not own one, but as I frequent the Glock Talk "Ten Ring" . . . I find that these pistols have a very high reputation. Also, check out 1911Forum's Dan Wesson board.

Dan Wesson is highly regarded. In fact IMO they may be the best production 1911 available for the money. They build em tight and right... No MIM

Its not a semi-custom or full house custom quality, but they seem damn nice (I don't have one... Yet) for a production gun...

Just got an RZ45. LOVE IT. Where have you been all my life. Should have gone this way a few years ago.

Also, can someone tell me why the standard RZ-10 holds 9 rounds in its mag and the RZ-10 Soprtsman can only hold 8 with what appears to be a slightly extended mag?
That and the actual differences between them besides the sights and the front strap checkering.
