I have a little extra money from comp time and can't decide what to do with it. I'd like to keep it in the 1911 family and I currently have 2 Springfields. One is a custom and the other is stock.

This would probably sound like the most sensible option except that the cost of ammo is goind DOWN not UP! Remember to buy low and sell high.

I think that you should send in your GI for some minor upgrades.

I have about 1k of each caliber in FMJ. The new S&W 1911 Pro 9mm is really tempting me:

High end pie!

Don't be a pussy, buy some!

You'll have a life-long memory...or STD if you go cheap.

Stick with the top shelf PIE!

I'd make sure that both guns are absolutely 100% reliable; after that, upgrades or new guns.
