I will let the pictures do the talking.

Stan,

Thanks for making this such a fun and exciting process. It is truly a privilege to own one of your guns. Your work is helping to take the world of 1911’s to a whole new level of design, flawless execution and uncompromising function. This is truly “art” with a purpose!

For those of you currently waiting for your Legacy Custom..........it is worth every second of the wait.

Enjoy!

More pics to follow as this was just part of the package...........

I'm new to 1911s and never heard of Stan Chen, but that is one sweet looking pistol.

Congrats on an incredible 1911.

I hope you are planning on shooting it?

I am still a couple of years away from my place on his list.

The stuff he does on a 1911 is incredible.  I have seen one of his guns up close, and it is a close to perfect as you can get.  His metal work is some of the best I have ever seen.

Enjoy the new gun.

Never heard of him, but that is one incredible looking gun. I'm sure he's low production so I haven't been exposed to his work before. That thing is a work of art.

I am not a big fan of showy or gimmicky cuts and styling choices, but everything looks very well-balanced. It's like he pushed the envelope a little and knew just when to quit. Congratulations.

Those pics just confirm my thoughts that Stan Chen is one of the very top smiths in the country.  I also think that blaster is going to look much better with a little holster wear on the muzzle.

I was thinking the same.  Normally, "alternative" checkeri ng etc looks like shit.  However, THAT is hot shit.  IMO Chen and CT Brian make the best looking "modern" 1911s.

I think the pictures speak for themselves.  As a related note, I've had the pleasure to speak to Stan a couple of times and he just seems like a great and regular guy.  If I had the moolah, I would definitely let him build me something special like that.

Wow, I have to wonder how many milling machines he's worn out in his career.

Very well done!

$%*# me !!!

that is solid !
Love the magwell and the way the diamondesque  pattern "checkering" wraps all the way round to the edges of the grips.

$%*# !!!

Same.  Chen went right the end and knew when to stop, fantastic piece of artistry.

That "checkering" on the front strap and MSH is amazing. Very nice work. (tips hat to Stan) I like the sight setup on it and the solid long trigger works very well with the rest of the gun.

Very badass. I love the frontstrap treatment and of course the flush cut muzzle. I cant wait til my Brown comes back with its cut.

Absolute wizardry with the milling machine.
And masterful hand work.
Add in innovative and functional design.
The package as a whole bespeaks artistry.
And it's BEAUTIFUL too!

This.....

Also, the checkering on the FS, MSH, and the slide are amazing, but how do they feel in hand? they look very aggressive, almost exclusive to glove shooting.

Again, beautiful gun, I am most jealous.
