Has anyone had any experience with the tactical solutions 1911 22 conversion kit?  They look good and gunblast had a good review of them.  The other kit I'm looking at is advantage arms.  I'm only considering these because of the last round hold open feature.

Does anyone know a good place to buy a TS kit?  I can get one straight from them for $400, but I'm always looking for a better deal.

Thanks.

Anyone know where to get one for cheaper?

I have a 2211 kit with a threaded barrel. I am very pleased with it. I had a Kimber kit before it and much prefer this one. I purchased mine from Polite Society Inc. If you can get it for $400 I would go for it. That is a good price. The mags are really expensive ... I think I paid $60 for an extra one. Needless to say I only have 2.

I also have one that I've had for a year or so. In fact, I got it when they first came out.

Mine shoots great with pretty much anything I feed it. My only complaint was that I had to get a different extractor to get it to work with my Kimber TLE frame. (I'm in the process of gathering the bits and pieces I need to build a dedicated frame off a Caspian frame.)

The mags are kinda a pain when it comes to pricing, but I can't complain about how durable they are. (All metal)

If you can get one for $400 then definitely go for it. You won't be disappointed.
