I took my Yost-Bonitz Combat Commander and 5 Shot Leather gear arrowhead hunting with me for a photo opportunity. These are my fist attempts at fancy photos and just thought I would share. Oh and by the way, I absolutely love my gun and gear, and lucked out on the arrowhead hunt too.

Yep, I don't think the feds would like me arrowhead hunting, especially while carrying on their (our) property. But, I find these arrowheads walking the disked farm fields along the White River on private property where I have permission to hunt. Over the years I have found some pretty good spots, they are typically along the first or second ridge back from the river on the high ground.
And thanks for the compliments, I had a great time taking the pics and I think they came out pretty good for my first attempt at fancy ones. I can not say enough about John Ralston at 5 Shot Leather, he does some really awesome work and could not be a nicer guy, honest and trustworthy, old craftsmanship style that is hard to find now a days. The inside of my belt has something special he did for me that personalizes a message I hope to never forget. |

Pretty amazing collection you have there. Any idea what tribe(s) made 'em? |

It was my son's signature line on the various forums he participated in and his motto in life " Deep Faith Eliminates Fear On The Trail". We lost our son Michael at age seventeen 10/28/07. These arrowheads were probably made by Osage, Caddo, or Quapaw Indians as they were the primary inhabitants of our area. |
