Good video or manual for total breakdown of 1911 for a new owner. Bought gun with 400 rounds through it and have shot another 500 since then. Figure another month or so need to tear down for clean and lube.............

Disassembly Animation
For routine cleaning you need not go further than taking the slide off and removing the barrel and cleaning what you can get at. Total strip down every once in a while is ok. |
