I love that 2 tone color.  I like everything about that combo except the cuts in the side of the slide but its not mine so that doesn't matter....nice work!

I agree they blew it with those odd cuts, everything else is Great
Maybe someone could enlighten me on the bobtail?
It looks like some years ago someone droped one ..dented in the grip
& they thought: Wow that looks cool? Never have cared
for that, just wondering WHY?

One thing I really love about it, is the scales look.
very cool, looks kinda like what Kimber did with
the Raptor which is going to be my next 1911.

The bobtail takes out the point of the grip that sticks out the most when carrying.  Its a CCDW thing.

Some of us see no need for an ambi.

I agree with the other posters, it looks absolutely fabulous except for the milling on the sided of the slide.  (but again, it's not mine)

I thought it was considered a tactical necessity on a combat pistol?

Beautiful! How much $ for such a build and who made the slide and frame?

EDIT...I see the frame is a Colt. Is the slide as well?

Now that is a thing of beauty!

My compliments.

Out of curiousity, do the BHP style scallops cause any issue with proper seating in a holster (i.e. some wiggle due to loose fit at the muzzle end)?

I really dig that, now you need to build one in 9mm and sell it to me!

OK, I'm drooling now.

Did you bead blast and then color the frame?  That's really sharp looking.

I love bobtailed commanders. That one is a little over the top for me but I can appreciate the excellent craftsmanship that went into it.
